n an effort to nurture in our community a fuller appreciation of the fine arts, Ballet Northeast provides lecture demonstrations and mini-performances for charitable and civic organizations, and for students attending regional private and public schools. Outreach programs include, among others, performances with the Northeast Pennsylvania Philharmonic, and participation in the Fine Arts Fiesta, Kirby Park's Pirouettes in the Park, and Barnes & Noble and Osterhout Free Library storytime events. Ballet Northeast also shares facilities and properties with other local dance organizations, including Wyoming Seminary's Performing Arts Institute and collaborates with Wilkes University, its dancers and technical professionals. Ballet Northeast's "The Nutcracker" presentation hosts an annual Cans for Klara Food Drive to help feed families in our community during the holiday season.
